The originals are better The new version fits looser and is inherently softer sounding. The max doesn't compare to the sound crispness and quality of the original version. The usb-c ch a raging is nice and the function to force it to reconnect with one of the onboard buttons is noce

If you hate your company issued headset, upgrade up to SHOKZ. My only current regret is not doing it sooner. Time will tell their reliability and durability but, for now, happy camper here!

10/10 I use shokz nearly everyday on the farm. They make handling phone calls in tractors and semi trucks much easier and serve well for listening to music. They are durable and the quality is great

Shockz OpenCom I purchased these to use as a wireless headphone for online calls. They work very well and I’m very impressed at the audio quality is much better than an older pair of AfterShokz that I own. Very happy with my purchase.
