Great addition So far this has been a great addition to the M4 mini. I paired it with a WD Black 770 SSD and use it for my time machine backups. Time will tell for the longevity of the the product but as of now it’s a must have.

The Missing Part The stand and hub add the needed USB A functionality back into the Mac Mini front panel. With the very high price of Mac Mini storage upgrades, having the option to add inexpensive m2 SSD storage in a “permanent” accessory is a real plus. This add-on is a no- brainer!

Versatile and compact The Satechi Mac Mini M4 stand and hub with SSD enclosure is a great way to add more ports to the Mac Mini M4. It makes it possible to expand the storage by adding an additional SSD, PCIe stick without the need to get an external drive. The front of the unit has three USB port...

Exactly what I expected and no heat issues from an NVMe ssd. I got this primarily as an SSD Enclosure. It's working as expected. The fact that it makes access to the on/off button a little easier, that it provides more ports and that it looks like it is part of the Mac mini is gravy. On top of that...

Great accessory Like the previous model I had for the larger form factor Mac Mini M2, this new smaller M4 model is a great addition for providing extra connectivity and storage capacity. Perfect fit, looks the part, installs literally in seconds, and works perfectly as intended. Nice to have the a...

Love It...but need better instructions Great product; but pitiful instructions. You should more prominently feature your online manuals.

Mini M4 Stand 2 gig ssd slid in and the 2 screws and screw driver held it in place. 1 screw is a spare.

Wonderful Little Hub! I pre-ordered this hub, and it has yet to disappoint. The extra ports it adds are great, and I eventually intend on adding an SSD inside the base. No wireless signals seem to be blocked, which was a big point for me to check. Sometimes, these kinds of devices can cause that, ...

Probably would pass on this if I had to buy again The m2 enclosure is too slow. I ended up only using it for a Time Machine drive. None of the usb a ports are thunderbolt 4 speeds. They need to add ports on the back. I would buy a thunderbolt 4 hub instead if I would do it again. Hope they make an...

A great addition With the additional 2Tb SSD, the device provides a great place to store large files. It backs up well with Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner. In hindsight, I would not have purchased Apple’s 1Tb ssd for the Mini. The Stand is a great addition.

Almost Amazing I am happy with this product in the sense that I am not affected by the two shortcomings I am about to mention:*TB uplink would have been better than the USB-C*Mac Mini doesn’t firmly park into the Hub and tends to slide around.Fix these two issues and you have a five star device!

Much Needed Addition to My MacMini M4 I rushed out and bought a different device from another company, similar to the one from Satechi which wasn't't available at the time. I had some serious issues with it going to sleep at inopportune times. As soon as the Satechi device came available I ordered...

Extra ports and extra storage... Perfect! Was able to add a terabyte of storage, and now have enough ports for my accessories. Great design (love that I can easily turn on/off the Mac Mini). Looks great!
