The pictures of the set make it look okay, but it is much uglier in real life. The Balrog looks nothing like it did in the movie. It looks like a children's stuffed toy. Also, this thing is way overpriced. Would not recommend Publicada originalmente en Lego-globalF

This is my least favourite of the new line of LOTR sets (although that is a very high bar) but I’d still consider this a good set overall.

Bonne expérience de construction. Le mécanisme d'ouverture/fermeture du Booknook est particulièrement intéressant.

Was amazed how this was engineered, but it was my first serious Lego set I built! Knocked down a star because two pieces were missing: a small black plate (cosmetic), and the left half of the fainted eyes piece. I got two right pieces in the set, but no left. Weird. This set is way better in person. The balrog is very well done and has great articulation. I like the tiled off look of the book nook and the lighting effect of the color change accross the display.
