This New GoPro is great. GoPro did a very good job with the cool auto detect lenses and love that you can use a magnetic mount with it and the 1/4'' thread mount for tripods. Some of use might be disappointed that the battery is different but I think it is worth it with the more battery time you get... Publicada originalmente en GoproT

After several GoPro series starting with the OG Hero I skipped the 12 but decided to grab the 13. Camera arrived and I went thru the normal setup process and charged it up. After an hour I find the camera doesn't recognize the battery. Do the whole reset song and dance. Battery shows up long enough ... Publicada originalmente en GoproD

Only negative is video clarity (can't read license lates past 1. 5 car lengths)

Battery life is the best of ALL GoPros to date. No need for 2nd battery anymore (must remove if camera uploading = will explode due to overheating) ***negative*** newer battery size/design
