Got it fitted by professional electrical. Did not work at all. Tried to set the heating to high, came back it was still cold. It required to reach that temp in 2 hours or so. Unable to add 3rd gen thermostat to existing 2nd gen account. Was on phone for an hour with Customer Support and was still not able to correct the problem. The instructions are terrible and to fit it on base is sensitive and can detach. Also cannot figure out schedule. Most of all there is not a phone number to speak with a person!! What a surprise. Publicada originalmente en Nestr

The directions are completely worthless, and there is virtually no support at all. If the setup doesn't exactly match your old thermostat, you are on your own or forced to hire a professional. Decides on its own what temp it likes, despite your set temp. Just like google liberal idiots, it decides what you need and kiss your privacy goodbye. Garbage. Get a Sensi. Much more user friendly. Publicada originalmente en NestN

We thought we were buying a thermostat for our new home purchase. Once installed and using it, the next day scraped together some money and purchased a second one.
