I bought this based on the look alone, having seen the film. I was impressed that the resemblance was so close for such an unusual craft. What stunned me on completion was the action for the landing gear, wing retraction and wing movement, all integrated and functioning really well, and elevating it... What else can said about the Ornithopter that hasn't already been said? This was easily the most interesting, complex, and satisfying set I think I've ever built. This is hands down the best Lego set I’ve bought so far- mechanically, structurally, and functionally!! The minifigs are amazing as well!
